Solar Panels
Fox Primary School has 100 solar panels on it’s roof. The Solar panels capture the sun’s energy using photovoltaic cells. These cells don’t need direct sunlight to work and can still generate some electricity on a cloudy day.

The benefits of Solar Electricity
As well as reducing electricity costs, solar electricity helps us to cut our carbon footprint. Solar electricity is green renewable energy, and doesn’t release any harmful carbon dioxide (C02) or other pollutants.
